I've doing private tutoring for the last 2 years-just relocated and having a hard time finding new clients-been looking at online teaching but most sites are just register and wait for clients kind of thing-does anyone know of online schools that are hiring? And yes I've sent out scores of applications but no replies-thanks for any input-WN

Sorry if this reply is not much help to you, but I remember last year receiving an e-mail from an agency after registering with ESL lounge or a similar web site for an online teaching job. The company is located in Korea and from what I hear online ESL is very poplar there. The company offered to send me the software, but I wasn't interested and eventually deleted the e mail. Good luck with your search. Hopefully you will receive some good suggestions with this post!

I've heard of people doing this sort of thing, but don't know anyone at it here. I would think they would hire overseas where English speakers are plentiful to work online for the benefit of folks here...
