PATTAYA POLICE ARREST DRUGS DEALER OF 28,000 YAH BAH TABLETS

The biggest Yah Bah dealers (Amphetamine) in the East were arrested yesterday, August 13th, 2008. Pattaya police confiscated the evidence of 28,000 Yah Bah tablets and other property worth about 2 million baht which police believed they had them from trafficking Yah Bah.

Pol.Lt.Gen.Theerayut Kitiwat, commander in cheif # 2, Pol.Maj.Gen. Bandit Khunjak, commanding officer, Pol.Col. Pairat Supasawas, deputy commanding officer, Pol.Col.Nopadol Wongnom, Pattaya superintendent. Mr.Komsan Akachai, deputy Chonburi mayor, Mr. Itthipol Khun-pluem, Pattaya mayor and police team, joined to publish the news for the arrest of drugs ring suspects: Mr. Worajak Hiran or nickname "A", (27), Mr. Narong Somsing or nickname "Oil" (27), Mr. Thawal Kamaporn or nickname "Lek" (34) and Miss Kesanee Thongbai or nickname "Kes" (34). Police confiscated the evidence of 28,000 tablets of Yah Bah, Wet Yah Bah of 730 grams, 311,300 Baht cash, a blue Toyota Yaris, license 1262, Chonburi, 4 mobile phones. Besides, police also confiscated property as a house, gold ornament and a car, worth about 2 million baht in total. The police believed those property were from drugs trafficking dued to millions of Baht being generated in their bank account.

According to Pattaya investigator had detected a drugs dealer suspect and managed to arrest Mr. Worajak Hiran or nickname "A" from a room No. A 4, at Wasana guesthouse, located at 144/106, Jomtien Soi 3, Moo 12, Nongprue, Banglamung, with the evidence of 10,000 tablets of Yah Bah. Subsequently, police had extended the case and arrested other 3 suspects: Mr. Narong Somsing, Mr. Thawan Kamaporn and Miss Kesanee Thongbai, and confiscated 10,000 tablets of Yah Bah from a resident No. 653, Moo 6, Nong-Pla-Lai, Banglumung. Police had been lead to confiscate a house No. 62/37, Moo 1, Nongprue, and found more of wet 8,000 Yah Bah tablets, ready to be consumed, weight 730 grams.

Pol.Lt.Gen.Theerayut Kitiwat, commander in cheif # 2, declared that all 4 suspects were the primary source of Yah Bah in Pattaya city which was the drugs ring of Mrs. Thitinan Thongbai or Alias "Jae Thip", big Yah Bah dealer of Pattaya. The origin of the drugs had come from neighbor countries by trafficking through Farng district, in Chiangmai province, then being transferred to Pattaya to distribute to those dealers. The drugs ring had been operating for more than a year and they were arrested at this time.

Well, at least this is egg on the face of all those detractors of the Thai Narcotics Division (correct name for them? kinda like the DEA in the States) after the press release that foreign trafficers of drugs were being targeted. Bravo for the police going after locals, and at least making an effort to get that crap off the streets.
