Silicon Valley Veterans ?

I was wondering how many Silicon Valley veterans we have

living full time here in Bangkok or Thailand in general.

Also how many spend more than 6 months a year here ?

(For those not familiar with the name;

Silicon Valley is in the Northern part of California, USA

where the semiconductor industry is concentrated.

Chips are made from Silicon, thus the name.)

Lived in Santa Cruz several years (graduated UCSC), worked as a propaganda consultant for dotcoms run by twentysomething college dropouts with more venture capital money than common sense. 99 percent of my old client companies are out of business now, but it was fun while it lasted...

Did they fight a big battle there, to qualify as veterans?

Well actually yes.

Working in Silicon Valley involves dealing with the wars of a highly competitive

business community. Getting your product out to market very

quickly is a key to success. So most work very long hours under

a lot of pressure to meet deadlines.

Ten years or more working in the Valley qualifies you as a veteran

of the tech business wars in my opinion.
