I'm thinking of taking up a teaching job in Thailand, do i need to have a bachelors degree to get a work permit? Plus would i be able to get a work visa out there?

With a BA and police clearance a work permit can be issued if you find employment. Although there has been some talk of restricting teaching to those holding specific degrees recently. Work permits are only issued for specific company/employment. So you need to find (future) employment first - the apply for work permit.
