Cost Of Crutches

I bought a pair of simple wooden adult crutches today at S-C Pharmacy on Rama 4 next to the Pan Pacific Hotel between Suriwwong/Silom. These crutches come in many different sizes and are further adjustable for the height of the crutch and the hand grip.

I had no idea what the cost would be but saw some priced on the internet about for $32 USD (about 1000B) so was expecting the costs to be in that neighborhood .

I was pleasantly surprised to buy a pair for 250B (less than $8 USD) and the pharmacy staff adjusted them to fit. They also had many other aids such as commodes, wheel chairs, walkers, etc for sale.

Good to know for that next sprained ankle or twisted knee.
