I've been on the lookout and asked around CM for years and haven't come up with a source for [producing] asparagus crowns in the area, so, I thought that I'd put it out there in thaivisaland.

If I can't locate crowns locally, then my only choice is to order the seeds from the US and wait three years for production.

Are you looking for enough crowns for yourself, or are you wanting to go down the several rai commercial quantity path ...?

for starters, I just like to plant in our backyard for personal use........50 crowns would do. Then, if they do well, I'll plant them on a small scale comercial use [1/2 rai]......jersey knight Have read that there are some high yielding, fat, all male hybrid varities [no, I'm not gay] comming out of the US. from seed, it takes 3 yrs to production, so I'll order and start some seed for future, but I want some for the table ASAP.
