Does anyone know if I buy an HP Laptop in Singapore/Hongkong and it develops a fault - will HP in Thailand repair it?...

Can't help you with HP, BUT Asus do what you stated... All these EEE PC's are imported from Taiwan apparently, I picked one up yesterday and was told by the shop that I could take it to the service center on rama IV or the new one thats opening in Pan Tit if there were any issues with it... :o

AFAIK, HP offers regional warranty on all laptops except the business range. Even then you might have to buy an extended warranty.
