November 21, 200421 yr When visiting Thailand 14days ago I was on a sightseeing tour and the guide told us about the new airport scheduled to open next year. They would be needing a lot of falangs speaking good english to work at the airport . Anybody know anything about this??? Where to show interest or place an application??? I will have an early retirement next year from my airline and this would have been an excellent opportunity, both to get work and settle down in my favourite coyntry.
November 21, 200421 yr I suspect there will be lots of well qualified Thai people speaking pretty good English too, so chances would be slim in the first instance. Best to probably use your connections within your own airline to see what they have on offer.

I do not quite follow the OP's point that lots of farangs would be needed. I certainly do not see 'lots' working at the existing BIA. I would also suspect that in many cases the ability to speak/write Thai would be more than just an asset. Use your existing connections within the industry
November 22, 200421 yr That makes no sense at all. This is not a "new" airport but just a new location. The people presently working at Don Muang will be moving.
