¡Thanks a lot for helping me answering my questions!

I will go to Thailand (Chiang Mai)next January 2009 to visit some friends, to study thai language and to seek for a job.I am a little confused about wich VISA apply for and where. I am Spanish and live in Spain but the Thai Embassy in Madrid they don´t colaborate at all giving me answer and they insist in giving me aTourist Visa which is not the one I need.

I would like to know, if you can tell me please, wich Visa should I aplly, where and how?. Multiple Entries Non Inmigrant "B" type or "O" type?. Should I do it through Hull or should I do It though this Company called Siam International? They offer me a "B" type. To do it through Hull for an O type saying that I am visiting some friends is correct? Do I need any letter from those friends?If I get a job when I am in Thailand is the same thaving and "O" Type than a B type? Is it secure to send my passport to Hull as they will send it back to Spain without problem?

Do you have a school or work place that is ready to accept you? Just saying you're here to visit friends might only give you grounds for a type B visa.

Wish you were coming to Bangkok, I sure could brush up on my Spanish...

Yes, I have a school in Chiang Mai called AUA . But I think that a Type O Visa is possible to get just with thE reason of a visit to some friends. At least in Hull, you get it . Am I right?

Yes you are right - O visa for visiting friends might be possible from Hull. A "B" visa would never be issued for that reason.

Thanks a lot "mate". Do you know if I can apply for a Visa to Hull not being British?. I have Spanish and Swiss passports.
