Annoying Sms Message From 12call ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have used 12-call pay as you go service for many months and just in the last week I have started getting an annoying messages coming in several times a day. It says 'message cannot be displayed' and is from a number 900414 (which is not a valid phone number).

My phone is a very basic nokia and I cant receive anything but basic text messages.

Has anyone had the same issue? Does anyone know what this message is and how to stop it.

I am assuming it is an MMS or some sort of graphics message that cannot be displayed. I also assume it is junk mail from 12-call..

Go to the AIS office at Siam Paragon, give them your phone number and the message and they will go into their system and block that sender.

I have post paid service and do this about every 3 weeks or so and have done this for my fiancee's pre-paid. They will tell you it takes 1-3 days to take effect. Usually it works the next day.

Those ads are the most annoying things ever!!!

Aloha

I started to recieve annoying text messages from all and sundry!!!!!

made a bee-line for the nearest true move shop and had it stopped there and then

Havent had any dodgy text messages since

The messages most likely can't be displayed because your phone doesn't support Thai script. Anyway, as you don't want to receive this crap, go into message setup on your phone, find info services and turn it off. This should solve the problem.

thai script isn't the problem. my phone accepts thai script and i get these messages every day 24 hrs a day from that same number. I already went into chiang mai AIS main office and waited in excess of an hour to get served. The problem stopped but now I have it again. Not sure if it was the same number. The staff at Kampengdeen AIS office pressed the foreigner button on the queue machine and i realised later this meant that i had to wait for an english speaker despite the fact that i speak thai well.. there was one english speaker that day and she was busy. absolutely pathetic service at AIS. why do they let this number through their system in the first place?

I advise anyone who goes into AIS office not to press the foreigner queue button! Even if your Thai is not good it doesn't take much to explain most problems.
