Travel By Coach From Bangkok To Lom Sak - Help Please

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm due to fly in to Bangkok on Sunday 28th Sept. I need advise as to how to catch a bus from Bangkok to Lom Sak (nr Phetchabun).

Now i have done this journey before from pattaya. Therefore i need help as to which bus station do i go to in Bangkok and what time do they leave Bangkok.

if anyone can help, i will really appreciate it.

Probably best to catch a taxi from Swampy to Mo Chit Bus Terminal, should be no more than 350 baht, but I think expressway fee's have gone up recently, so may be more now.

There are class one bus & class two bus, both Number 14's and say Bangkok-Lomsak on the sides of bus.

I have always used the class one bus, usually double decker blue ones and book ticket at counter number 42, they usually go every 2 hours on or around the hour mark.

I have used the class two bus only once, but the counter ticket desks are in a different area of bus terminal. Class two are usually orange single deckers and stop at more towns than class one.

There is an info desk when you walk into Mo Chit, I found them friendly & helpful..

I get off in south Petchabun, so never get up to Lom Sak!- good luck
