Tyke Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Hi, a Burmese friend of mine has just bought a condo in BKK and he told me that, since he has been working legally (ie. has had a work permit) for more than 3 years in Thailand, he did not need an FET form to buy a condo and could use his savings in Thailand to pay for it, ie. no foreign transaction needed. He also said he asked at the land registry office and they told him this applies to all foreigners, not just asians. It is the first I've heard this one - does anyone know the legal ruling on this?
