Does anyone know where I can get a ASUS Eee PC 1000H in Bangkok?

I'm thinking Pantip is a good bet but I hate that place and if I can minimize the amount of time I'm there, all the better!

Thanks! :o

There is an HE and an HA. The HE has the extra long life battery and is well worth the money. I just bought an HE here in the US and love it.

Wow, no ASUS EEEPC 1000 Hx in Phuket? Amazing Thailand.

I bought mine some 3 months ago in Sri Racha, paid still 17,800 Baht, upgraded to 2 GB (think it was 600 or 800 Bht).

Very satisfied with it. I use XP and no issues or weird crashes whatsoever. Battery life for the H is about 4-5 hrs. Good enough.

Cheers

I bought my Asus Eee PC 1000H a half a year ago at Siam Paragon. Spent half a day in Pantip and then found a better deal at Siam Paragon. At that time only few shops in Pantip had this netbook and all of them only had a Thai keyboard, they even tried ripping me off by selling me a used netbook for the price of a new laptop! Anyway, got it cheaper, with an english keyboard and new in Siam Paragon.

Cheers.
