Healing Power

The following is a snippet from today's New York Times:

Mr. Bush, in a prime-time televised speech on Wednesday night, appealed to the nation — and to reluctant lawmakers — to support the [economic bailout] plan.

After the address, the drafting effort continued through the night on both sides of Capitol Hill — with pizza on the House side, and Thai food in the Senate. (Negotiations between the House and the Senate can be nearly as complicated as negotiations between Democrats and Republicans.)

The Senate must be thinking that the healing power Thai food can help bring a resolution to the crisis. Would anyone like to hazard a guess as to what Thai dishes might have been served?

Not sure David but I'm sure that generous servings of แกง ขี้ เหล็ก would have been appropriate.
