Two Month Visa Date Confusion

Featured Replies

I have a question about my 60 day double entry. I have a date that is stamped in my passport from when I entered Thailand. Its October 8. That means that I have to leave Thailand or extend my visa on October 8. However my two month visa says that it "must be utilized before October 15th. My question is can I extend it by 1 month on October 8th or do I have to leave before the 15th to activate the second two month visa?

If you extend your visa and do not leave and re-enter before the 15th you will loose the second entry.

Given the dates I suggest you leave and re-enter on the 7th October, activating your second entry.

At the end of that you can consider whether to extend for a further month, at immigration in Thailand.

Thanks for the info. That sounds about right then. Suck because my birthday is the 7th. Mai pen rai.
