Hi,

I have a few questions about the Tourist Visa. I've already gotten about 6 of them--in Singapore, Phnom Penh, Penang, Taipei and most recently Nairobi. Neither were particularly tough places, with exception of Nairobi. Penang had a small consulate and thus was super easy.

-I would like to apply next in Indonesia- Are Jakarta or Bali tough places to apply?

-When I was in Nairobi, however, I tried for a non-immigrant B, was denied, but they gave me a 60 day tourist visa again. They told me that I should return to the US (my home country) to get the next tourist visa. They said there was a limit on the number of tourist visas that you can get from abroad. I wasn't aware about this limit.

And would it be a good idea to apply for a new passport, so it's not "jam packed" with Thai visas?

Thanks gang!

Shouldn't be a problem getting a single entry.

I have seen reports of people staying here for a year or more just using tourist visas in and out.

I wouldn't worry about changing passport. It might not help because they link the two passports together in immigrations computer system if you get your new passport here.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has obtained a 2 or 3 entry tourist visa from Bali recently. I'm pondering a week's vacation there in Nov and would like to pick up a visa while there. thx
