pontious
Is the permit valid to your permitted to stay date or 1 year from issue? If you dont know the travel dates (or dont plan any -just there for emergencies ) what do you put on the application form 'Not yet known' or a fictitious date? P It's valid to the end of your "permitted to stay" date. I usually just write down "open" when getting a re-entry permit, don't think they really care. And, yes, good idea to have a single re-entry permit in your passport for emergency travel, only baht 1,000 DTT if not used. Mac
Mario2008
You can always apply for a re-entry permit at Bangkok Airport itself.
