i recieved my multi non o visa in feb of this year from the thai consulate in ireland on the grounds of my thai wife an child who at the time was with me in ireland.we have the means from business in thailand to show an income of atleast 480,000 baht for the previous 12 mths prior to applying for an extension to my already 12 mth visa.now my question is : ive noticed on the bottom of my multi non o visa stamp theres another blue ink stamp saying EXTENSION NOT PERMITTED does this mean even tho i have the means to show an income from business in thailand that i cannot now use this to attain a extension and if so why on earth would they put that added stamp there for. if this has had it then what now can id do ? im not in a panic now as my visa is ok until abot march anyway. thanks in advance daver.

Yup ^^^ I agree with the good doctor.

Consulates seem to like adding these scary riders, I've had 'no extension of stay' and 'employment prohibited' (on different non-o visas) made zero difference to my work permit or extensions.
