Hi One of our staff from Dubai who holds an Indian passport came here to help us with our Store Launch at Centralworld. Upon arrival he was given a 14day visa that expires on the 8th. of october .However we need him here till the 12th as our launch is on the 11th. The rules for extension of stay include no provision for an extension after arriving on a visa on arrival (VOA). However, since even tourists arriving without a visa can get a seven-day extension it might be possible also for a tourist who arrived on a VOA.

Suggestion: call Sunbelt Asia, who are a sponsor of this forum, and hire them to handle it.

As small point but he would have been given 15 days for a VOA.

As Maestro said there is no extension available for this.

It would be worth an attempt to get 7 days but do not expect too much.

Suggest you go to the Thai Immigration Headoffice in Soi Suan Plu and ask for a 7day extension.

Just take your Ticket along and it should be fine.
