My Thai wife will be shipping a container-load of her household items from Fremantle, (Western Australia) to Nakhon Sawan, Thailand in the next few months.

She has been in OZ for over two years.

Can anyone recommend a reliable, reasonably priced agent who can organise the lot door-to-door?

I have done searches on TV but come up with a lot of irrelevant results.

It seems having an agent in Thailand is the best way to go.

Maybe someone else has done a similar exercise from OZ?

Any advice much appreciated.

There is a company in Fremantle that does part container loads to Thailand. I will check its name. It is at the corner of Cantonment street and Market Street. THey quoted me about $80 to send a cubic metre to bangkok but that did not include clearance om Thailand. If you want to send me a PM with details of what you need I will see them and get a quote for you.

Asian Tigers/Transpo International. Great company affiliated with other moving companies around the world. We had no issues at all with our shipment from the US to Thailand.

try www.bullocks.net.au they are in Freemantle I used them and they are very cheap but be aware if your wife likes to shipp over her personal belongings she has to prove she lives in OZ for at least 4 years

or you pay tax.
