25 Year Old Thinking Of Starting Company With Thai Partner/s

Dear All,

I'm a 25 year old, and have been living in Thailand for over 8 years now.

I've been employed by 2 different companies during the past 4 years.

Currently, I'm on a yearly WP with the Non-B based on extension of stay.

As my line of work is audio / visual consultancy, I've been pondering over working independently.

This is a long-term plan that I intend to put into action, mid-late 2009.

Could some of the more experienced entrepreneurs give me some basic guidelines?

What visa status will I have?

Will it be problematic to get a WP?

I do have 2 thai partners who are my best friends as a matter of fact.

Obviously, they will be the other shareholders besides myself.

Will I HAVE to hire an additional 2 employees to qualify for my own WP?

Initially, how much investment would I be looking at?

Of course, I will go through an agent, most likely Sunbelt.
