madjbs
My current one year extension runs out on the 2nd of November and today I just went to Immigration to do a 90 day report and get a re-entry permit for a trip I have planned from the 22nd to the 28th of October. I have just realised though that I wont have much time after I get back to extend my visa for another year, so it would be better to do this before I leave on my trip. What I am wondering is, is my re-entry permit still valid if I use it before it's expiry date but after I have got a new visa extension in my passport? When I return, will they stamp me in to the end of my new extension? Thanks
Lite Beer
Your Re Entry Permit expires when your current permision to stay expires. Look at the date stamp on the permit. It is should be 2nd November. Edited October 7, 2008 by Lite Beer
Mario2008
You can already apply for the new extension now and will have no problem with your re-entry permit. Edit: Didn't read the part that you already have your re-entry permit, so Lite Beer is right. Edited October 7, 2008 by Mario2008
ubonjoe
Yes it's a bit tight since the 2nd is on Sunday. Edited October 7, 2008 by ubonjoe
