Thai Words For Business Jargon

Featured Replies

Excuse me for re-posting this in the language forum.

Can someone fluent in business jargon tell me how to say (transliterated in English and written in Thai) "ordinary shares" and "preference shares" and "preferred stock" to help me to communicate the idea with my accountant.

P.S. I could be about to look for a new accountant who understands the concept :o .

Thanks in advance.

In Thai stock market, there are "common stocks" and "preferred stock".

"common stocks" should be the same as "ordinary shares" which is called หุ้นสามัญ - hôon săa-man.

"preferred stock" is calledหุ้นบุริมสิทธิ์ - hôon bòo rim ma sìt.

Absolutely brilliant yoot, thanks a million for that

I don't suppose you can help me out with the Thai for "special voting rights" also could you?
