Thailand Market

Recommended Posts

There is another post which seemed to support that the Thailand Housing market (not condos) has been rather flat for several years. Taking this as a given where to from here?

America, England and several other countries are in the housing doldrums - Australia has quitened after the boom of 2003-2005 and some analyst are predicting the only way from here is down based on the economic anomaly of the medium house price being 7 times the medium take home wage which has been labelled as a receipe for mortage default by some.

One expert states that for stability the situation needs to be more like the medium house price being 3 times the medium take home wage.

The real question is Will Thailand follow the trend of housing prices plummeting or is the situation different here??? If so why???

"Taking this as a given where to from here?"

Huh?

"America, England and several other countries are in the housing doldrums..."

Yes, we know.

"One expert states that for stability the situation needs to be more like the medium house price being 3 times the medium take home wage."

Which expert would refer to a "medium" wage? Too, what makes him an "expert"?

"Will Thailand follow the trend of housing prices plummeting or is the situation different here???"

No.
