60+30 + 30 +30 +30?

Featured Replies

I am nearing the end of my 60 day tourist visa and the 30 day extension. ( Oct. 29 )

Is it possible to do 1 or 2 poi pet over and back 30 day on arrival entries at this point?

I want to stay only another month or so, and don't really want to go all the way to vientienne for a new tourist visa.

I'm in Sriracha, and just now starting to check for options.

Do people still do border crossings for visas at poi pet? It's been a long time since I've been there!

I hope I explained this situation clearly.

Thanks in advance

The rule is a total of 90 days in a 6 month period using 30 day visa exempt stamps.

I think like Lite Beer got you straight on doing a couple of border runs. No problem rule doesn't apply to tourist visas.

There are sevaral companies that do border runs from Pattaya, don't know about Sriracha though.

Poi Pet is one of the locations I have seen mentioned in recent reports.

The plan to the extra Visa Exemption runs is good.

I think you can get a bus to Aranyaprathet from Chonburi.

After my Non-O expired, I came in on 30 day stamps, never using all 30 days. I received 4 (four) 30 day stamps in a row, without so much as a glance at immigration. I had plenty of my 90 days remaining on my last entry, but he didn't seem to even take the time to count.

You should be fine with the 30 day stamps you'ra asking about.

I just depends if you had visa exempt stamps before your TR.

..............but he didn't seem to even take the time to count.

In Thailand it is not uncommon for laws to fall into disuse.

The trouble is that we never know when they will be resurrected. :o

No visa exempt stamps this year, so I should be ok.

And thanks for the replies!

I'm going to do the poi pet run and see what happens.

If there are any problems, it would be a good excuse to go check out sahonukville or however you spell it!

Indeed. If you didn't have visa exempt stamps this year you'll be OK. Saw that Maneerat in Pattaya has organized tours to Shinoukville .... THB 3,800.
