1bluenose
Although my Thai address is in Sisaket can I renew my retirement visa in Bangkok? I have always done so but read a while ago that it could only be done in Province of home address?
Lite Beer
Although my Thai address is in Sisaket can I renew my retirement visa in Bangkok?I have always done so but read a while ago that it could only be done in Province of home address? As usual there is no concrete answer. Some members are reporting no problems while other are being told to go to their local offices. It would seem that Bangkok are trying to lower their workload. Just turn up and see what happens. They will probably process you and then tell you to go local next time. But then again??
ubonjoe
Just had report of a fellow who went to Bangkok and they refused application and told him to go to his lcoal office. His was for marriage. Edit: Here is list of NE immigration offices: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/post-a65460-...mmigration-offi It was put out by the Nong Kai office and they are telling people to go to their nearest office. Sisaket is on page 3. Kap Choeng in Surin might be good choice also dependent on where you live. Edited October 13, 2008 by ubonjoe
