The Queen Attends Funeral Of Pad Protestor

Interesting to say the least....

Thailand's queen mourns protester

Thailand's Queen Sirikit has attended the funeral of an anti-government protester killed in clashes with police a week ago.

Two people died and nearly 500 were injured in the violence.

In the aftermath, the conduct of both the police and protesters was criticised.

Thailand's King Bhumibol - an object of veneration among most Thais - has not commented on the political crisis which has rocked the country since August.

His wife donated a reported 1 million baht ($29,000; £17,000) to help pay the medical expenses of those injured in the clashes.

The message is pretty unambiguous, cannot be discussed on this forum and has been repeatedly stated on international news reports of the political situation in Thailand.

Indeed, a review of forum rules yields this:

Discussion of topics concerning the King or other current or deceased members of the Thai Royal Family is forbidden.

There will be NO speculation regarding the Royal Family
