Regarding the point I have bolded, did you give a description of what the TV.com crowd looks like? If not, I am sure if you just say something like "uhh, a group of funny looking farangs who look totally out of place" their staff will keep point us in the right direction.

I give them no descriptions. They have my name and my mobile number. The Marketing girl will ring me again just before 7PM. The staff will have "ThaiVisa" memorised by the time we get there. So, just say the word. Don't try looking for funny looking farangs. You might end up with a wrong crowd.
