GungaDin
Hi. Am I the only person having probs getting the visa form to download properly from http://www.thaiconsulate.org.au/ The map showing the location doesn't work either. In fact the site looks a shambles! I'm using the latest version of Firefox. cheers gd
Maestro
The visa application form on that web page is in the RTF format. Unless you have a program installed that can read that format your computer cannot open it. I have now saved it in the PDF format and attach it here. -- Maestro Brisbane.pdf
GungaDin
Thanks Mae. It used to be a .pdf file, I wonder why he changed to a rare format. .<deleted> or .rtf .... same-same Did the map work for you? cheers gd
ubonjoe
rtf is not that rare. It means rich text format. I clicked on it and MS word came up and opened it. I thnk that if I had saved and then opened it I could of filled it in. Map a no go. I got a info pop up. It's a google map and the code is wrong or something. Maestro
I didn’t test the map earlier but clicking on “locate us” now got this error message: An RTF file has two advantages: 1. You can type the information directly into the downloaded form. No need to write anything except your signature by hand. 2. By comparison with a Microsoft Word document, it can be used across various platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux and with various text processors, and it is probably more secure than a Microsoft Word document. -- Maestro
GungaDin
RTF is rare to me. Maybe I should get out more. Thanks for the explanation/s. gd
