What about at Bumrungrad hospital.

They have, I think, 4 level packages - diff prices of course

Ranging from....walk-in walk-out sabai sabai,...to....being probed and poked like a lab mice

Call them up, stop by, or look into their main webpage

best of luck :o

That is 10000 baht for that.. hmm is that consider cheap?

I don't know it's cheap or not.

Because "cheap" is a relative word.

For my family it's not too expensive, but for other they would rather spend that money buying 1 rai in a bush somewhere, or if U make only 10000 bth/mo, then it's quite expensive.

or for some others....it's worth it - considering the centrally/convient located of the place among all other surrounding amenities

Up to U to decide and figure out that yourself

If you piss off the customs guys at the airport, you might get a free "check" in the rubber glove room :o

At Thai Nakarin Hosp packages start in the 2,xxx range. EKG EEG stress test available at slightly higher cost.

THe body scan alone is $600 in the US. So I would say this is cheap.

But beyond what it costs here or in the US, if they find something nasty early, it would be worth many, many times more than that.

My brother died of a cancer which went undected for too long. An aquaintence of mine went to the hospital for something unlrelated, and they found the exact same type of cancer, but in a much earlier stage. Four years later, he is healthy and enjoying life.
