Usb Wireless Or Bt Mouse?

Featured Replies

Anyone use a BT (Bluetooth) mouse? Are they a waste of money?

I see in IT Mall Logitech have both USB wireless or BT mouse on sale but the latter is less choices?

Is BT mouse not so reliable? I was thinking maybe could release up one of my USB ports by going BT but am worried about lack of BT mouse choices and possibly reduced battery life of mouse as the BT mouse packages don't mention battery life and the USB wireless mention 18 months?

I have a rather expensive Targus wireless mouse. It requires a USB transmitter so no USB port is freed up. The mouse works fine but having to recharge or replace the AAA batteries is enough of a hassle that it has been put in a drawer. I have found that Logitech makes good equipment so maybe that would be a better designed mouse.

The Targus mouse can be charged with a USB cord but that uses two ports, one for the transmitter and one to charge the batteries.
