Hotshot, the company is called synergy. I think MLM can work, but one of the major problems is that there is so much hype and people go in expecting the world. There are plenty of really bad comanies and plenty of decent ones too. But too many people don't do proper research in this area. Another big problem is that too often the product is an excuse to run money through the compensation plan rather than the driving force. In other words, there isn't legitimate demand for the product. Eventually, the many people who aren't making any money will stop buying the product and it falls apart. So there is potnetial in MLM, but it needs to be looked at with the same scrutiny as any other business.
