Web was down a couple of hours this morning but I was still able to SSH to my US servers. Seems most likely the problem is the eavesdropping device they've put in....

TT&T, Chiangmai,

For more than 2 hours this morning. :o

Phoned them, heard them saying" same, same throughout the country" :D

ok back to normal now but i had to ping the modem and reboot it

tt&t in samui also then the connection went back but maxnet dns server wen't working , it's a good idead to setup in your routeur btw in case this is happening again.

It was down all morning for me - but this happens once a week.

Also, my 2mb TOT connection went down at 10:00 a.m. this morning, with only a couple domestic websites available. All foreign websites, including my much-used Gmail which I use professionally, inaccessible.

Immediately, I switched to a TT&T backup and their service had no problems.

After the TOT slowdowns, infrastructure falling behind the marketing efforts to flood their servers with new customers, and the six-month YouTube fiasco--TT&T, as a primary ISP, is looking better all the time.

My TOT connection was down for about 5 hours today (11:00 - 4:00) in North Phuket !!

Still have problems on my CAT line. A traceroute fails after 6 hops.

Even more curious: when trying a traceroute to the next hop of my adsl line, the trace gives up immediately!

Those guys from CAT are quick in solving problems and.......they do call back!

I've almost gotten used to the on again/off again internet "service" here.

Prolly means I've been here too long....
