FARANG, the meaning refers to a foreigner, usually white and from Europe or USA, Canada, Australia , NZ, a Black foreigner known as Farang Dam. Other races are known by their country of origin.

Yeah, and there is a theory that it comes from the days of the french indochina.

The francais were often called Flangsais, cos the locals do have the r/l thing we all know about the asians.
