I must confess that I hadn't noticed it had disappeared.

However, that was (I guess) because the jokers that run the station are content to switch programs on and off, to suit themselves - or attempt to save money (I guess that they pay for the time connected to stations).

That is (in addition) to the guy who decides to relocate around 5/6 channels, on a weekly basis, to suit himself.

It is NOTHING (believe me) to be watching a program - an example would be a Champions League match when some moron decides he wants to watch golf and switches it!

They are, seemingly, incapable of providing anything resembling a reliable service!

In Europe they would be sued by every customer, so why not here?

Even in Thailand I think we could bankrupt the bassa!

Thanks for the reply LTK and yes i get similar things happening.

It,s a ball ache for me as i cannot always record a particular channel, invariably the BBC News as i can only recieve the first 50 channels in numerical order on my recorder. ??????

I lkie to fast forward the adverts and other stuff i,m not interested in / repeated items.

Like you say the channels tend to disappear mid programme in some cases and that,s a real ball ache.

Usually the English language ones, ( that is apart from F.News which i cannot take to, their agenda seems to favour only one side of the political scenario and is forever flip flopping in it,s reports. )

I cancelled UBC for several reasons which are highlighted by many elsewhere.

It got really bad when True took over, so after 10 years of subscribing

I,ve also tried Home Cable and that was a right pain at the time.

UTV is for me the best of the bunch so i,m satisfied most of the time.

P.S.

The wifes O.K. with the Thai stations which tend to be static, channel wise, so that,s the main thing.
