Been downloading torrents for years. Always been alright as long as port is forwarded correctly. Am with CAT hinet right now. While using uTorrent to download, the NAT icon turns to green from yellow and then back to green. So on so forth. Speed drops about 50% while in yellow. Like a cycle every 10 minutes or so. Cannot maintain a constant speed and hence takes forever to download. (legal stuff of course).

UPnP is disabled both on the router settings and in uTorrent. Port is forwarded for uTorrent correctly.

Any particular reason why uTorrent is doing this? Would it be at CAT telco's that causing this?

It might be... But try to enable "Forced Encryption" in uTorrent if it is not the case already.

no its not. its zyxel 660H which is supposed to be a really good one. The Belkin one that I had always had a green but had some computers within the network had problems connecting to it. Can you recommend a good router?
