November 17, 200817 yr Does anyone have a easy and quick solution for this?? Is there a reliable free software out there?? Appreciate any assistance, Thanks.
November 17, 200817 yr The only software I'm aware of is from Adobe itself eg. Adobe designer, illustator. Which you can pick up from pan tip plaza easily enough.
November 17, 200817 yr You will need Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro (not Adobe Reader). If you want to edit text in the PDF document (including deleting text), you will need to have the fonts in the document installed on your computer. Without the fonts, you will still be able to do things like extract pages.
November 18, 200817 yr Author Foxit PDF Editor. Try a Google Search for it. Thanks, I googled and came across Foxit http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/index.php , however when trying to dowload 2.0 version of PDF editor, pop up window says that this license is not valid anymore. I am not sure if I can trust this page, as I dont want to download any maliscous software. Has anyone downloaded editor from this web page or anywhere else ?? How secure is it?
November 18, 200817 yr like i said try PDF converte 5, It works for me. http://www.nuance.com/pdfconverter/ If you are worried about maliscous software. your only op is to buy Adobe Acrobat pro
November 18, 200817 yr The Foxit download link seems fine to me. It's a well known program, my anti virus says it's ok and it installs like it should. One of the best pieces of free software around. Try download.com or majorgeeks, they probably have it if you prefer to download from them.

Thanks Jeffer, I tried Foxit download link on my windows vista and it didnt work, basically nothing happend, same problem on download.com, majorgeeks doesnt seem to offer it. However, there are several other pdf editors on download.com but not sure if they are really safe..
November 19, 200817 yr Download.com is maybe the largest site for downloading software there is, so while nothing can ever be guaranteed safe it should be safer than most. The problem could be with Vista. A few weeks ago we had some files that needed transferring between laptops running Xp, XP pro and Vista. Between XP and XP pro, no problem. Vista... we gave up with all the error messages we were getting, couldn't find any new drivers so ended up using flash drives to get files transferred, slower but it worked.
November 19, 200817 yr I think PDF-XChange Viewer has some editing capabilities, but not sure how restricted they are. http://www.docu-track.com/home/prod_user/P...ols/pdfx_viewer
