It,s just been announced by The National Army Chief, Gen Anupong Paojinda, has been relieved of his post !!!! :D:D

<deleted> is going on, if it is as they say, he has lost his post, and someone else has taken over his position.

I wondered if in fact he had gone to oversee the unfolding scenario, as the PAD have already started to organise the march for this morning

Told otherwise ???

marshbags :o

Edited to add bold and highlight the role he has / had and the already ongoing march this morning and also add the latest announcement, that he has gone to see Prem ????????

Not impossible of course, this means that little somie boy could give the instruction from a safe distance so that he can deny any involvement - not my fault I wasn't even there.

The fact that he has left the country when such very important events where forecast and are now beginning to place, leaves much to wonder / worry about.

All the major players of the TRT have also mysteriously gone from the high profile making headlines they all crave, in recent times and much i reckon is / has been going on behind the scenes

Latest update from the PAD:

There are rumors (so nothing sure) that they (refers to the government) want to remove Anupong.

There was a meeting between Prem and Anupong yesterday, but it is not clear that he visit Prem because they want to remove him or if they want to remove him because he visited Prem.....

So there is not much known so far.

Hmmm..troubing news.....PAD are not known to put out false rumours...they were the first to break the story about Thaksin's divorce just 2 weeks ago, many thought it was rumour...but they were right

They are usually on the ball when making such important announcements :o

But they told that it is a rumour.......so I wouldn't panic before it is confirmed.

Flash News on TOC today:

"Army chief General Anupong Paochinda has been appointed as the head of an ad-hoc committee set up to monitor the current potentially-volatile situation in the country."

So it looks like they were just rumours.

I am not anti PAD, but maybe this is a Machiavellian strategy on their part to force Anupong into making a decisive move against the government.
