kurgen Posted November 26, 2008 Share Posted November 26, 2008 Police Colonel Sarayut, the new Chief of Pattaya Police was one of many senior officers to respond to a call regarding a suspected murder which had taken place at an apartment block in Soi 5 off the South Pattaya Road. The call came in on Monday Evening after the body of a Thai Man had been discovered by a friend of the deceased who was concerned that the victim had not been seen for more than a day. Inside room number 31 at the apartments lay the body of Khun Tanorm aged 32 who was known to have worked as a Mamasan at the Sawasdee Boys Club in Soi Pattayaland 1, South Pattaya. He had sustained a total of 10 stab wounds and his throat had been slashed. It appeared that valuable items had been taken from the room. Forensic evidence including blood stained footprints were collected from the scene and the process of investigating the murder began straight away. Police spoke with Khun Witoon aged 34, the owner of the apartments who explained that the victim had rented the room for the past 6 years. He revealed that a young man with long hair had been seen leaving the apartment on Sunday and was then seen to drive away the victims car, a Silver Toyota Vios. Moments before, shouting was heard from the room. Although the murder weapon was not present, Police suspect the attacker was known to the victim and they are confident that the killer will be caught soon. On beach road any night of the week there are at least half a dozen stalls selling samurai swords, combat knives, anything you can possibly think of they have. Yesterday, we reported on a murder which occurred at an apartment block in Soi 5 off the South Pattaya Road. A mamasan working at a Gay Bay in Soi Pattayaland 1, South Pattaya was stabbed to death in his apartment over the weekend and the body was discovered on Monday evening. We can now report that the suspected killer has been caught and on Wednesday Morning a reconstruction of the events leading up to and following the murder took place. Mr. Abdullah Man aged 19, a Burmese National, is employed by the Dreamboy Bar in Soi Pattayaland 1 and was caught on Tuesday Night in Nhakon Rachasima Province in the North-East of Thailand on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by the Pattaya Courts. The suspect, who confessed to the killing, claimed that he had been in a casual relationship with the victim, Khun Tanorm aged 32. Recently Mr. Abdullah was having money problems and approached Khun Tanorm for a loan. He agreed to lend him money, however Mr. Abdullah would have to repay the debt by having sex with him. On Sunday Night, Mr. Abdullah went to the victim’s room and he claims that the victim forced him to have sex and held him down on the floor. Mr. Abdullah attempted to resist the victim but was overpowered. Somehow, Mr. Abdullah found a knife and initially stabbed the victim in the throat He then continued to stab him until he died. Items were then stolen from the room including the keys of Khun Tanorm’s car which was then driven by the suspect to his room and then to Nakhon Rachasima Province.
