Traveling To Singapore

Featured Replies

Hello in an attempt to get to Thailand before new years day im going to be traveling to singapore then to Phuket. However i will need to stay overnight in Singapore.

Can anyone share your experiances with me. How much can i expect to spend on a taxi to/from the airport. Any districts i should try to steer clear of in Singapore. Can anyone recomend a cheapish hotel for the night. I read its about a 30 minute drive from the airport to the main hotel districts like Little India is this correct?

And is their any special visa process i need to go through to stay in Singapore? Im from England.

Also any warnings or advice is more than welcome.

Thanks

Mike

no problems with visa ,90day issued on arrival,20 dollars singapore for taxi to little india, a bit of advice, leave your large siutcase at left luggage, and catch the mrt( underground railway)its fast clean, 10 minutes to little india only costs 2,80dollarsl, plenty of Budget hotels, Fragrance Hotel Selegie or Hotel 81 which is on the same street or Even Back Packer central round the corner, singapore is clean and safe no dangerous areas except trying to cross a road in rush hour, if required plenty of female companionship of all race and size lol, shopping for any thing?? and I mean anything, try Mustaphas 24 hour Shopping centre and little India beats Bradford for a good Ruby Murray, Relax and enjoy Singapore :o
