one question ... i am using a dtac happy sim and i want to send a "sms" to a hotmail.com - address ...

is that working? do i need a special message gateway?

i tried to send yesterday, but without success.

but i am not sure whether it was a problem of dtac or of my mobile phone ...

Bubu, I copy in a response from an earlier thread.

Go to http://wap.dtac.co.th on your mobile phone.

Select the e-mail/chat icon and then you select PushMail. Click on english and follow instructions, quite easy.

They send you the e-mail/push mail as a pop-up service message. I believe they removed the monthly fee so you only pay normal data charges if you choose to retrieve the message. You can send or reply to emails from this menu. Works for gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.

Not sure if this solves your problem?

You need to register first: Send a text message in this format: r pincode birthdate e.g. r 1234 01121999 to number 1999908.

Once sent, you will receive confirmation of registration.

From then on you can send email via SMS.

Here is how:

dtacbs0.th.jpg

i tried to register, but the reply sms says "registration is closed" ...

and i can not send to 1999909 ... then the systems replies "you are not registered" ...

the second number for registration is also not working ...

and dtac says that 1999909 does not exist. but when i send message to this number the system replies that i am not registered ... interesting ...

What is the second number for registration? There is only 1999908.

Maybe they have stopped giving out DTAC webmail accounts.

The link is here. Once there, click on 'How to Register'.
