Leaving And Returning To Th Without Using A Entry On A T.v.?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm currently here on a double entry tourist visa and am still on my first entry. However I'd like to leave the country for a short trip up into Laos but don't want to activate my second entry as I still have time left on my first entry.

I remember seeing some post in the past about being able to get a "permission to leave" stamp at immigration here in BKK that will allow you to leave and then re-enter Thailand without using a entry on my TV so I was hoping that somebody could please give me the details on this as I can't find the original post.

A Re Entry Permit will cost 1,000 Baht and will keep your current permission to stay alive.

You can get a re-entry permit for 1,000 baht. This will allow you to leave Thailand and come back with your current permission to stay stamp remaining valid.

You can apply at any immigration office and need to take a pass photo with you. process takes about 20 minutes.

Thank you very much for the information and confirmation!! :o

Or you can go out which cancels the first entry and ask them just for the 30 days when you return. You would then have to leave within 30 days whereupon your second entry could be activated upon your return.
