Lived and worked in Lamai from 95-98....went back once in 2004, depressing! I fear Koh Chang has headed the same way....

i'm glad it evolved, not talking about quality of roads of course.

Fantastic I was living in Lamai then, worked at Lamai Inn for a while, there and Koh Phangan from 91-98 I remember the Old Bauhaus (joints accross the bar!) you can see it briefly in the video, it was my favorite place in the world back then, in fact still is.

O the memories . great video Boater . One of the reasons we decided to buy a place here a few years ago . The change is as they say is self explanatory but despite all the negative responses on Samui at the moment it still holds ,and probably always will, a great affection in mine and the good ladies heart .

The landlord increased the rent to a stupid amount, so they shut down
