I'm picking up my father from Suvarnabhumi today at 4:00pm and then transporting him back to Nichada Thani. We have a pretty strict tradition that a pint must be had somewhere between the airport and the eventual sleeping destination. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good, quiet pub that's suitable for a father-son chat on the way to Nonthaburi. I realize that there are literally thousands of pubs in Bangkok, but I'd like to avoid downtown so that we can get back to Nichada without having to go through the ridiculous traffic. Basically, I'm just looking to see if anyone has discovered some wonderful gem between Suvarnabhumi and Nonthaburi that I can take advantage of at about 5:00 today....
