Pronunciation Of A Name

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if some of our linguistic scholars could help me with the pronunciation of a name. The name is Sathyavaglswaran. I could make a good guess for the Sathyava portion, if it followed Thai pronunciation patterns but I'm inclined to think it is a name that would follow Pali pronunciation rules in which I don't know how it would be said. The glswaran I'm not sure what to do with it. However, that is his "official" spelling. If someone could make out what pronunciation is behind this spelling I would be appreciative. Thanks.

Needs to be in Thai to have any chance doesn't it? However I looked at my dictionary and the first word I came up with shows the problem ศาฐยะ (ส.; ป. สาเถยฺย) pronounced สาถะ meaning สาไถย คสามคดโกง I haven't looked to see what they mean. I like puzzles but some are too difficult.
