Hard Rock are offering a "special price of 4300 Baht ++", can anyone recommend a decent hotel that, in view of the current problems have dropped their prices after the holiday, preferably in a nearby location.

Not really close to Hard Rock, but LK Renaissance in Soi Diana is very good value at 2700B if you dont mind the beer bars on that soi. Nicer rooms than many costing a lot more. Web-site: http://www.lkpattaya.com/
