The last time somebody made a statement like that was Khun Sunderland, making a ridiculous political statement Now I do not know if indeed he lived upto his word and dropped his kecks, however, I will remember this statement of yours, and when my prediction comes true, you dont need to go to Woolies, just attend one of these football get togethers and I will make sure I am there to chair the auspicious "Debagging of StevieH" occasion. I think it would be a big mistake signing a new keeper. Hart WILL be the next England keeper. But I also think that Hughes is under pressure to bring in BIG, BIG names ASAP. Whether he has got the wherewithall to make a good team out of them..thats the million dollar question. We wait with baited breath as to whether your kecks are up or down

We wait with baited breath as to whether your kecks are up or down i imagine hughes is under pressure to do that yeah, but as anyone with any football knowledge knows, it doesn't always work that way. santa cruz would be a great signing but he's probably not 'glamourous' enough for the owners. they need to realise that no really top player moves in january and certainly not to a side with no champions league football. How times change, when I was a youth it used to be Lewis's window, presumably because it was the most prominent and public spot in town. But looks like the wheel may be about to turn full circle, assuming that Lewis's is still there, and the cock of the north is still on guard outside. Nasty pr#ck that he is, he has got pace and would offer City another option. Surely Mr BOJ, he would be an upgrade on Vassell?

Of course we need to walk before we run but i just don't think Bellamy can give us more than we have already got. A straight swap for Vassel....maybe but to pay money......no. Go after someone who could make a difference. However, if we do end up with him and he dons a blue shirt, i would be fully behind him

Bellamy, if you are to buy him, will cost you more than 12m as we've rejected 12m from the Y*ds & now you're in the hunt, the price goes ^^^.. Bellamy's a very good Player who would certainly improve a Team currently sitting 2 points off of a Relegation place, without a doubt & Hughes more than anyone else can get the best out of him, if he was to stay fit of course which is always a massive question mark.. MSingh
West Ham have failed in a bid to sign Inter midfielder Luis Jimenez, according to the player’s agent. http://www.setanta.com//uk/Articles/Foo ... nid-33456/ The 24-year-old Chile international has apparently been approached by West Ham as well as Sampdoria and Lecce, but his agent, Rocco Dozzini, says the Serie A champions have decided not to sell. "Everybody is asking about Jimenez,” he told El Mercurio. “That is quite normal because we are talking about an excellent player, but he will stay at Inter because they have decided he will not be transferred. “Luis belongs to Inter and there is absolutely no chance he will leave." He added: "West Ham, Sampdoria, Lecce call me every day. "Inter are one of the five best teams in the world, alongside Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, so he will stay here." Newcastle have never learnt anything over the years in respect of the transfer market, in fact at one point they didn't even have a reserve teamn under 'King Kev' , but you are right United are as good model to follow. I wont mention though we have bought some crap over the years as well. Delighted with that. Tosic is very highly rated, and has already played 12 internationals, so he is going straight into the squad. Funny, as a couple of days ago the papers were reporting that the Tosic deal was dead, and Ferguson had said he would not be buying anyone. Well, two top rated young lads is the way to go.
