10,000 Emails

My gf's computer at work is in the process of downloading 10,000 emails in Outlook from the same Pamela M. All say Merry Christmas. There is some antivirus software running, but as it is now, each time a new email has downloaded, the software comes up, you have to click something, it goes away and then the next email comes and you repeat the process. So basically its a giant pain in the ass. Any idea how to stop these emails from coming all at once? Each one comes from a different address, but the domain of the address is the same as my gf's company....
