Windows Movie Maker

I've checked for previous posts on this but no luck so... :

My Windows XP ( with service pack 2 updates ) has a problem with the Windows Movie Maker. I can splice together photo's no problem but when I try to add videos to the storyline they feeeze frame ( background audio still works.) when I try to play the storyline. I have version 2.0.3312.0 and have heard other people have experienced a similar problem. I have tried to download a different version over the existing one with no luck.

I also have alternative programs like ULead Video Studio but Moviemaker seems more user friendly.

Anyone know how to fix it or download a working version ??

Thanks in advance ............ Bangyai
