Please Help...flights From Bangkok To Phuket

Featured Replies

Looking to get info on flights from Bangkok to Phuket. Can you purchase the flights right at the airport? Does anyone know if they are normally sold out? Is it cheaper than buying online? is the only ariline asia air? I can't seem to purchase them online.....keep saying error on page then kicking me out of the site.

Bree,

Not sure what your problem is about online purchasing....but you can purchase tickets at the airport....even the day you want to leave...but now it is fairly busy so you may have to wait or go to a few counters....Air Asia is usually cheaper....Thai Airways usually have seats but most expensive...online is cheaper or go through a travel agent....are you in Thailand????

No, I'm not in Thailand I'm in Canada. When going to the site to purchase tickets, I get through all the stages then it says error on page. Maybe the site is down? Or experiencing technical difficulties?

I get to Bangkok on Jan 17th super early in the morn. I want to fly to Phuket Jan 17th on the 0720 flight but wasn't sure if I could just get the flight when I got to the airport. Maybe I'll try another airline.

Try Thai Airways they are the biggest and fly to Phuket the most often......after Air Asia...there is Nok Air, One Two Go, and Bangkok Airways...but they fly from Don Muang. You could also try to go through a travel agent like Thai Visa's travel agent or the sponsor...Cheap Flights????? Good luck

nok is out of business as far as i know and 1-2 go is still under suspension.

Air asia is the cheapest at about 1,800 baht each way, ( NOTE IMPORTANT>>>> ur ONLY allowed 15 kilos FREE then its 50 baht /kilo !!!!! a real rip off if your traveling with lots of weight)

but not sure if they open early enough for u to buy the ticket same with thai. Thai gives you 20 kilos and 2 bags free then charge

Better to check online and see what u can do

sorry just checked Nok is flying but NOT to Phuket and 1-2 go is 1,850 first flight at 11:oo am

Suggest u book online

yeah Nok never went out of business they just reduced their routes. OneTwoGo re-started on December 7, just as Don Muang was reopening.

for the OP: yes you will be able to get a flight at the airport, I dont believe it will be sold out on that date, should have seats. You can book at the airport with Thai or Air Asia, very easy. also very easy to do online, perhaps you should try a different browser

http://www.bangkokair.com/ go from Suvarnabhumi.

Best watch this video clip first and then decide if one wants to fly with 1-2 Go. I wouldn't.

50 Baht per Kilo is a rip-off ???? are you kidding ???? Air Asia is actually the cheapest airline in the world when it comes to overweight luggage. even it is actually 80 baht a Kilo on domestic flights, and 165 baht on international flights.

u prefer to pay 50 Euro per Kilo as is the case on EMIRATES international flights, maybe ?

seen that video a long time ago. has been lots of questions asked about Thai Airways standards in the past too. the media love to make a story, they will have you believe Qantas is the unsafest airline in the world in Australia at the moment. i dont doubt that one-two-go have a dodgy reputation. however for some reason the CAA have decided they are up to scratch now
